Tell us about your property

Hotel Alla Corte is located in Bassano del Grappa, next to the famous Brenta Cycle Path. It has 32 rooms and is open year-round.

We were pioneers in introducing packages specifically tailored for cycling tourists in this area. This turned out to be a great decision, as the number of cyclists on the path has grown from 30,000 to 500,000 in just ten years!

Thanks to these packages, we’ve achieved notable results, including being awarded the Touring Club Italia prize for the best bike hotel in Italy.

We cater to leisure guests (May–September) and business guests for the rest of the year.

How were rates managed before Smartpricing?

Previously, we used two separate price lists: one for the low season and one for the high season, for both leisure and business clientele.

The leisure price list was always 20–30% higher than the business one, regardless of the time of year or events in the area.

What challenge were you looking to solve?

In the past, managing rates was a major issue. May and September were the most important months for us, but during those periods, it was difficult to handle multiple pricing quotes effectively.

We felt the need to improve our pricing strategy and implement dynamic pricing. However, doing so manually took too much time and energy, and it required advanced revenue management skills.

At the time, apart from Smartpricing, no other software could automate pricing management. The other tools recommended by colleagues were rudimentary and overly complex to operate.

Smartpricing, by contrast, was a pleasant surprise that allowed us to boost our revenue immediately.

What results have you achieved with Smartpricing?

  • August 2022: 60% more revenue compared to 2019
